Where do you source your coffee?

All of our coffees come from Colombia.  We are the exporter from Colombia and the importer to the US.

Who supplies the coffees?

Our coffees come from over 70 family farms or cooperatives.  These are long standing relationships built over the years by the Gonzales family.  Yonatan and Julian have taken on the responsibilities for these relationships with the farmers started by their parents.

Are the coffees organic?

We are proud to carry great coffees farmed in the most responsible ways possible. Organic certification is a complicated topic. To get the “Certified Organic” label, it is extremely expensive for the farmers.  This is especially true with the economics in the countries where coffee is grown.

Having the family farms carry the burden of the expense related to organic certification would put many of long standing partners out of business.

Our direction is to honor the long relationships which are rooted in supporting the farmers rather than focus on a label.  Since the families operate their farms without harmful chemicals to begin with, we want to put the focus on their ability to support their families and communities.

Where do you supply your coffee?

Our focus is on supporting roasters on the Western part of the US directly using the Mississippi River as a reference.  We’ve partnered with Royal NY for the Northeast and the Eastern region.  Please contact us if there’s any questions about your location.

How do I become a customer / client?

To become a client and place an order, we need to know the following information:

  • Business Name
  • Legal Name (if your business is a dba)
  • Main contact person - First & Last Name
  • Job Role / Title
  • Phone
  • Email Address
  • Tax ID

How do I place an order?

Your order could be entered through our website or by requesting our team contact you.  To begin an order through our website, first start by creating an account. Then review our spot inventory. When you find something you like, you can add to cart for purchase.  If a sample is needed, please contact our team.

How do I receive my order?

After your order is placed, our team will send the delivery order (DO) to release the coffee at the warehouse. The DO is required to move coffee out of the warehouse.  If you have your preferred carrier, our team will work with you to prepare the shipment.  Our team could also suggest carriers if you do not have one designated.

Can I track my order?

A tracking number is provided for orders once your pallet is loaded onto a truck. Our team will email the tracking information when it becomes available.

What if my delivery arrives damaged?

Sometimes unfortunate things happen.  Should something happen to your order in transit, please contact us at SALES@CUATROVIENTOS.US to discuss how we can help.

What if I have additional needs for specialty coffees?

In addition to the coffees on our website, we encourage you to contact us if you are interested in forecasting and future reserve contracts.

Do you accept returns?

Please contact our team if there are questions.  The request will need to be reviewed with returns only considered if there is a confirmed quality claim for the coffee. We ask for your cooperation to try a sample prior to purchase to ensure it meets your expectations.

Do you ship outside of the US?

Our main focus is the US market.  Please contact us for other international locations.
